Senior SAP Operations Support Engineer (L2) – Field Service Management

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Senior SAP Operations Support Engineer (L2) to join our IT team. You will ensure the stability and continuous improvement of our SAP Service and Maintenance landscape, with a focus on SAP Field Service Management (FSM) and its integration with SAP S/4HANA.

Key responsibilities

• Provide L2 support for SAP Field Service Management and its integration with SAP S/4HANA.
• Analyse, troubleshoot and resolve incidents affecting field service processes and technician operations.
• Investigate data flow issues across FSM, SAP S/4HANA and connected systems, reviewing interfaces, IDocs, queues and application logs.
• Collaborate with business users, L3 teams, technical teams and external partners to resolve complex issues.
• Participate in SAP/FSM upgrades, releases, testing and process improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to root‑cause analysis, create knowledge articles and maintain operational documentation.

Required profile

• Solid foundation in SAP, with experience in an SAP‑related role (e.g., application support, operations support, key user, functional consultant or business analyst).
• Hands‑on experience with SAP S/4HANA or a comparable SAP environment.
• Functional knowledge of SAP Service, CS/SD, Plant Maintenance (PM) or related service and maintenance processes.
• Understanding of service or maintenance order lifecycles, or strong willingness to develop this knowledge.
