Senior Information Security Engineer (Product & Customer)

About the role

IFS is a global enterprise software leader that leverages AI to deliver award‑winning solutions. The Senior Information Security Engineer will join the Product & Customer Organization, helping protect cloud environments and drive AI‑enabled security practices across the SOC team.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor the cloud security posture and analyse real‑time events to triage incidents.
• Gather data and conduct investigations into information‑security incidents.
• Identify and remediate security gaps, administering and maintaining security‑operation tools and services.
• Perform threat identification, modelling, and develop use cases for containment and mitigation.
• Provide security advisory on emerging threats and vulnerabilities.
• Inculcate AI security practices within the Cloud SOC team.
• Improve departmental processes, internal training, documentation, dashboards, reports and metrics.
• Execute any other duties assigned by the line manager.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of information security and security operations.
• Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure and services.
• Ability to build strong relationships with internal teams and senior leadership.
• ITSM knowledge is an advantage.

Required skills

• Experience with SIEM and XDR platforms.
• Understanding of MITRE ATT&CK framework.
• Certifications such as CEH, ECSA, Security+ or equivalent.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of AI security concepts and AI‑driven security operations.
• ITIL knowledge is a plus.
