Senior Finance Executive

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Finance Executive to independently manage financial accounting and reporting functions within our renewable energy business. The role requires a proactive professional who can ensure accurate financial records, support closing activities, and contribute to strategic financial analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day financial accounting activities and ensure timely, accurate recording of transactions.
• Prepare, maintain, and review financial records, schedules, and management reports.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year‑end closing processes.
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Ensure completeness of accounting entries and supporting documentation.
• Assist in financial analysis and provide relevant information to management.
• Maintain compliance with accounting standards, statutory requirements, and company policies.
• Coordinate with internal departments on finance‑related matters.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing required documentation.
• Maintain organized, up‑to‑date financial records.
• Contribute to process improvements and finance‑related projects as assigned.

Required profile

• ACCA or CA qualified, or currently pursuing qualification.
• Completed Corporate Level preferred.
• Eligible for or able to complete Articleship signing.
• 4–6 years of relevant financial accounting experience.
• Industry experience in construction or renewable energy is an advantage.

What we offer

• Competitive salary package ranging from LKR 200,000 to LKR 250,000.
