Sales Executive

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic Sales Executives to join our client’s growing team in Colombo. The role involves communicating with prospective customers, building relationships and achieving sales targets across local and overseas markets. Both fresh graduates and candidates with some sales experience are welcome.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct telesales activities to promote educational programmes and services.
• Generate and follow up on leads through calls and other communication channels.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable programmes or solutions.
• Manage the sales process from initial contact through to closing.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, leads and sales activities.
• Handle customer queries professionally and provide relevant information.
• Support ongoing account and customer relationship management.
• Achieve individual and team sales targets while collaborating with the Sales Team Leader.

Required profile

• Good communication skills in English and Sinhala.
• Strong interpersonal and customer‑handling abilities.
• Willingness to learn, adapt and develop sales skills.
• Basic computer literacy and confidence in phone‑based communication.
• Ability to work towards targets and follow up consistently.
• Positive attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Freshers are welcome; 1–2 years of experience in telesales, sales or customer service is an advantage.
