Sales Executive

About the role

This is a full‑time Sales Executive position based in the Colombo District with a hybrid work arrangement that allows some work‑from‑home flexibility. You will identify and qualify new business opportunities, manage a pipeline of leads, and conduct client meetings and presentations to promote solar and EPC solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify new business opportunities and manage a sales pipeline.
• Prepare proposals, quotations and negotiate terms with prospects.
• Conduct client meetings, presentations and close sales to meet individual and team targets.
• Collaborate with technical and project teams to ensure accurate solution design.
• Maintain CRM records, provide regular sales reports and market feedback, and represent the company at industry events.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales or business development, preferably in renewable energy or engineering.
• Strong client relationship, negotiation and closing skills.
• Ability to explain technical solar and EPC concepts in clear, customer‑friendly terms.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; additional local language a plus.
• Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
