Relationship Manager – Deposit Mobilizations

About the role

Our client is a leading organization in the financial services sector seeking an experienced and results‑oriented Relationship Manager – Deposit Mobilizations to strengthen its deposit portfolio and support continued business growth. The ideal candidate will drive deposit mobilization initiatives, manage customer relationships, ensure operational excellence, and support branch teams to achieve deposit growth targets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to grow and retain the deposit portfolio in line with organizational objectives.
• Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with existing and potential deposit customers.
• Oversee end‑to‑end deposit operations across branches, ensuring accuracy and service excellence.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and operational guidelines.
• Monitor operational and compliance risks, identify process gaps, and implement controls.
• Collaborate with branch managers and operational teams to improve customer experience and turnaround times.
• Prepare management reports, MIS updates, and performance analyses related to deposit mobilization.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or professional qualification in Marketing, Banking & Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent.
• 4–6 years of experience in deposit mobilization, deposit operations, or relationship management within a bank or NBFI.
• Strong understanding of deposit products, operational workflows, regulatory guidelines and compliance.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholder relationships.
• Analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making capabilities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
• Customer‑focused mindset with commitment to service excellence and business growth.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Exposure to core banking or financial services systems.
