Project Lead - Qualitative Research

About the role

RemediumOne, in collaboration with the Clinical Trials Unit of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Kelaniya, and internationally recognized academic partners, invites applications to join a major community‑based research project. Key responsibilities

• Coordinate qualitative data collection activities.
• Supervise and support field teams to ensure timely and high‑quality data collection.
• Coordinate day‑to‑day field operations and field logistics.
• Communicate effectively with local communities and community leaders.
• Work closely with local healthcare professionals and relevant stakeholders.
• Organise and facilitate meetings, community engagements, and study‑related activities.
• Ensure adherence to study protocols, ethical requirements, and project timelines.
• Provide regular updates and reports to the Project Manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Bio Science, Health Promotion, Nursing, Allied Health Sciences, Social Sciences, or a related discipline.
• Prior experience in field‑based research, community‑based projects, or public health programmes.

Required skills

• Strong coordination, organisational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple field activities.
• Fluency in Sinhala and English.
• Fluency in Tamil (advantageous).
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively to field locations, including locations outside the Gampaha District.
