Production Coordinator

About the role

LUMALA, a leading bicycle manufacturer with a 50‑year heritage, is expanding its product range to include e‑bikes and innovative three‑wheelers. We are looking for a self‑motivated Production Coordinator to ensure smooth daily operations across our manufacturing sites.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily production activities to maintain workflow continuity and meet output targets.
• Prepare and adjust production schedules based on demand forecasts and plant capacity.
• Monitor progress, track key performance indicators, and ensure deadlines and quality standards are achieved.
• Liaise with production teams, supervisors, and cross‑functional departments to facilitate effective communication.
• Track raw‑material requirements, support inventory planning, and prevent material shortages.
• Assist in resolving production disruptions such as equipment failures, staffing gaps, or schedule delays.
• Maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and internal production policies.
• Support quality‑control activities to uphold product standards.
• Coordinate with suppliers and logistics partners for timely delivery of inputs and finished goods.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Production Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Previous experience in production, manufacturing, or coordination roles.
• Strong understanding of production processes, scheduling, and workflow planning.
• Excellent organizational, time‑management, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Knowledge of inventory control and supply‑chain coordination.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with production planning or ERP software.
