About the role
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our leading fabric manufacturing organization. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining and optimizing our industrial machinery, ensuring smooth production operations.
Key responsibilities
- Perform routine and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery.
- Maintain pumps and gearboxes to ensure reliable operation.
- Diagnose and service hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Inspect, replace, and service bearings as required.
- Operate lathe machines for precision component fabrication.
Required profile
- NVQ Level 4 qualification in a relevant mechanical discipline.
- Minimum of 1 year of hands‑on industrial experience.
- Quick learner with strong teamwork abilities.
Required skills
- Hydraulic system maintenance.
