Manager - Financial Reporting

About the role

The Manager – Financial Reporting will ensure the consistency, accuracy and completeness of Sunshine Holdings PLC’s consolidated financial statements in line with Sri Lankan regulatory requirements. The role also leads the preparation of the Annual Report and supports subsidiary finance teams with budgeting and reporting guidance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and present consolidated financial statements in accordance with SLFRS and the Companies Act.
• Compile the Company’s Annual Report and coordinate audit processes with internal and external auditors.
• Provide advisory support to subsidiary finance teams on Group accounting policies, annual budget preparation and reporting requirements.
• Review business line budgets and consolidate the Group budget.
• Monitor changes to SLFRS and issue timely guidance to finance teams.

Required profile

• Member of CA Sri Lanka or ACCA; Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred).
• Minimum two years’ managerial experience in a commercial setting and at least two years in audit and assurance with a reputable firm.
• Strong knowledge of SLFRS/LKAS, CSE Listing Rules, Companies Act No 07 of 2007 and Sri Lankan taxation.
• Excellent analytical, interpretation, presentation and communication abilities.
