Learning & Development Consultant – Senior Advisory Role

About the role

We are looking for a senior Learning & Development Consultant to act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, shaping capability‑building strategies and delivering high‑impact learning solutions across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior leaders to identify organizational priorities, capability gaps and learning needs.
• Conduct Training Needs Assessments and translate findings into structured L&D strategies.
• Design and develop customized learning interventions, leadership programs, workshops and capability‑building initiatives.
• Facilitate engaging learning sessions for employees, managers, senior leaders and executives.
• Advise on L&D strategy, competency development, talent development and organizational capability building.
• Create competency frameworks, learning pathways, development plans and related L&D artefacts.
• Review existing learning programs and recommend improvements aligned with business objectives.
• Establish methods to measure learning effectiveness, engagement, behavioral change and business impact.
• Provide coaching, guidance and thought leadership on emerging L&D practices.
• Manage multiple consulting engagements while maintaining strong client relationships.

Required profile

• 15+ years of progressive experience in Learning & Development, Organizational Development, Talent Development or related consulting.
• Proven track record of designing and implementing organization‑wide learning and capability initiatives.
• Significant experience operating in senior L&D, advisory or leadership capacities.
• Experience facilitating programs for senior management and executive audiences.
• Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design.
