Internet Marketing Assistant

About the role

The Internet Marketing Assistant will support the online marketing efforts of Maximus Education, Migration & Travels, promoting its education, migration and travel services. This full‑time, on‑site position in Colombo focuses on managing digital channels, creating content and helping optimise campaigns to drive inquiries and conversions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and update social media platforms and the company website.
• Assist with email marketing, online advertising and content creation for digital channels.
• Monitor performance metrics, prepare basic reports and suggest optimisation actions.
• Coordinate with counseling and customer‑service teams to ensure consistent messaging.
• Respond to online inquiries and contribute ideas for brand visibility.

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer‑service skills for engaging prospective clients.
• Knowledge of online and digital marketing principles, audience targeting and basic brand‑building.
• Attention to detail, good organisational abilities and capacity to work effectively in an on‑site team.
• Prior experience or education in marketing, business, communications or a related field is an advantage.
• Interest in international education, migration services and travel solutions.
