International Conference Producer – Global Events

About the role

Cogent Solutions is seeking an enthusiastic Conference Producer to join its Sri Lanka office. You will shape the content of international conferences, engage senior executives, and travel abroad to host high‑profile events.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research and validate conference topics with industry professionals.
• Identify, approach, and secure C‑level executives and experts as speakers.
• Build and maintain relationships with senior decision‑makers across global industries.
• Manage the speaker acquisition process from outreach to confirmation.
• Collaborate with production and marketing teams to deliver successful international conferences.
• Stay updated on industry trends and propose emerging topics for future events.
• Travel internationally to host and manage conferences when required.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in a client‑facing role such as call centre, conference production, business development or client relations.
• Proven ability to communicate professionally via calls, email, WhatsApp, LinkedIn and virtual meetings.
• Strong relationship‑building, networking and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
• Confident outbound caller comfortable engaging international senior executives.
• Fast learner with solid research and analytical skills.
• Highly organized, proactive and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Willingness to travel internationally for conferences and events.
