Inspector Supervisor

About the role

QIMA is seeking an Inspector Supervisor to lead and develop its inspection team in Sri Lanka. The role combines people management, client interaction and continuous improvement of inspection services.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise a team of inspectors, monitor performance via KPIs and take corrective actions.
• Provide training, coaching, technical support and conduct performance evaluations and on‑site audits.
• Foster a strong sense of belonging to QIMA among team members.
• Identify and implement service‑quality improvements to prevent inspection issues.
• Lead client claim investigations and drive corrective action plans.
• Represent QIMA in customer meetings, support regional sales development and launch inspection programmes.
• Oversee operational aspects of key‑account inspection programmes in the region.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and factories, and work to optimise costs.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of quality management or product organization.
• Hands‑on experience performing QC inspections.
• Technology‑driven mindset with willingness to manage high‑scale teams.
• Ability to travel to team locations, client sites and factories.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
