Finance Executive

About the role

The Finance Executive joins the Shared Service Center R2R team to handle accounting transactions, ensure accurate balance‑sheet reporting for multiple legal entities, and provide financial data for statutory and management reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update the Fixed Asset Register, manage Assets Under Construction, and perform monthly depreciation runs.
• Process fixed‑asset acquisitions, disposals, transfers, write‑offs and splits in compliance with internal policies and accounting standards.
• Create and maintain Capital Expenditure Requests, supporting project tracking, budgeting and reporting.
• Record journal entries for accruals, revenue, expense amortisation and ensure correct period posting.
• Complete balance‑sheet reconciliations, conduct reviews with clients and support audit coordination.
• Submit global reports for group consolidation and support the financial period close in line with Michelin statutory and management reporting requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Management.
• Professional qualification such as CA (SL), CIMA (UK) or ACCA (UK) is an advantage.
• 2–3 years of relevant finance experience, preferably in a sub‑function of finance.
• Ability to work in different shifts (UK/USA) and in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP (FI, MM).
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
