Engineering Project Manager – Hardware Design

About the role

We are looking for an Engineering Project Manager to lead multiple hardware design projects, coordinating PCB and mechanical development from concept through prototype build. The role serves as the central hub between design engineers, manufacturing, procurement and customers, ensuring timely delivery and risk mitigation.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and track progress across parallel hardware engineering projects, flagging risks and schedule slips early.
• Drive technical discussions with customers, translating status, trade‑offs and risks into clear updates and decisions.
• Coordinate prototype builds end‑to‑end, working with manufacturing and TPM teams to sequence builds and resolve issues.
• Manage RFQ processes for components, PCBs and mechanical parts, comparing suppliers and driving cost, lead‑time and quality decisions.
• Own project schedules, milestones and status reporting in JIRA, keeping stakeholders aligned on priorities and blockers.
• Derive Statement of Work documents and engage with global marketing to define go‑to‑market strategy for engineering services.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronic, Mechanical, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Hands‑on experience using JIRA for project management.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage several concurrent projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable leading technical conversations with customers.
