DevOps Engineer – Cloud, CI/CD & AI Infrastructure

About the role

Variosystems is looking for a DevOps Engineer to design, implement and operate cloud, on‑premises and hybrid infrastructure that supports our critical electronic solutions. You will work across development, staging, UAT and production environments, ensuring reliability and performance for AI services and core business applications.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Linux and Windows servers, virtual machines, containers, storage, networking, firewalls, VPNs, DNS, load balancers, reverse proxies and Kubernetes clusters.
• Maintain GitHub and GitLab platforms, including self‑hosted GitLab instances and CI/CD runners.
• Design, build and optimise CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps and custom runners.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code with Terraform or comparable tools.
• Operate on‑premises AI/GPU servers, model‑serving infrastructure and integrate AI services with business applications.
• Provide hybrid connectivity, monitoring, logging, alerting and observability using Grafana, Elasticsearch, Prometheus or similar.
• Handle security, access control, secrets management, backups and disaster‑recovery procedures.
• Troubleshoot performance, availability and deployment issues and continuously automate operational tasks.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in DevOps, cloud or infrastructure engineering.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Linux and/or Windows Server environments.
• Proven expertise with Docker, Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Solid background in CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps).
• Experience managing hybrid cloud/on‑premises infrastructures.
