Coffee Machine Technician

About the role

Damn Fine Coffee is looking for a dedicated Coffee Machine Technician to join its on‑site team in Colombo. You will be responsible for installing, commissioning, and configuring coffee machines and related equipment at client locations, ensuring each unit operates safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and install coffee machines and grinders at customer sites.
• Perform regular servicing, preventive maintenance, repair, restoration, and calibration of equipment.
• Diagnose technical issues, troubleshoot faults, and implement effective solutions.
• Document service activities and maintain accurate records of spare parts, tools, and inventory.
• Provide basic user training to café teams and other customers.
• Collaborate with roasting and café support teams to minimise downtime.

Required profile

• Previous experience with coffee machines is an advantage.
• General technician or maintenance background.
• Strong problem‑solving and attention‑to‑detail.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• NVQ or related technical qualification is a plus.
