Income Auditor

About the role

We are seeking an Income Auditor to join our hotel’s finance team in Colombo. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of daily revenue transactions, supporting the financial integrity of the property.

Key responsibilities

• Audit and verify daily revenue transactions for accuracy and completeness.
• Reconcile revenue records with supporting reports and investigate any discrepancies.
• Review discounts, voids, refunds, and adjustments to ensure compliance with company policies.
• Prepare daily and monthly revenue audit reports for management review.
• Maintain accurate revenue‑related records in line with internal controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an Income Auditor within the hotel industry.
• Strong knowledge of hotel revenue auditing procedures and financial controls.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical, numerical, and communication skills.
