Receptionist – Front Desk (Aluthgama)

About the role

The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers at Digital Escapes, a tourism‑focused marketing agency. Working full‑time on‑site in Aluthgama, you will create a professional and welcoming atmosphere while supporting the marketing and operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Answer, screen and direct incoming phone calls with courteous phone etiquette.
• Greet guests and visitors, manage appointments and coordinate front‑desk activities.
• Handle basic inquiries and provide information about the company’s services.
• Maintain and organize records, documents and digital files.
• Support general administrative tasks as needed, including data entry and filing.

Required profile

• Strong reception and front‑desk experience, preferably in hospitality or tourism.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer‑service mindset.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize work and stay organized in a busy environment.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work full‑time on‑site.
• Prior experience in a similar role is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with basic office software: email, word processing and spreadsheets.
• Familiarity with standard phone systems.
