CCTV Operator – Security

About the role

We are looking for a diligent CCTV Operator to join the Security team at a leading hotel in Colombo. The operator will continuously monitor the hotel’s surveillance network, detect any irregularities and support the safety of guests, staff and property.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV cameras and security systems around the clock to ensure the safety of guests, employees and hotel assets.
• Record and report incidents, observations and suspicious activities accurately.
• Communicate relevant security information to the Security team and other departments as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of all footage and security‑related data.
• Assist the Security team during emergencies and other security incidents.
• Follow hotel security procedures, standards and company policies.
• Promote teamwork and uphold the company’s culture and values.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar CCTV or security monitoring role.
• Strong observation skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication abilities.
• Basic computer knowledge.
