Business Development Specialist

About the role

InTalent Asia is seeking an energetic, target‑driven Business Development Specialist to expand its client portfolio both locally and internationally. You will be responsible for generating new leads, nurturing relationships with key decision‑makers, and converting opportunities into revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach potential clients in Sri Lanka and overseas markets through cold calls, emails, LinkedIn and other prospecting channels.
• Contact HR managers, talent acquisition heads, CEOs and other decision‑makers to understand recruitment and HR needs.
• Arrange and conduct client meetings, online presentations and demos of InTalent’s services.
• Prepare proposals, quotations and service agreements, and negotiate commercial terms within approved guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, calls, meetings and opportunities in the CRM/ERP system.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Business Management, Marketing, Sales, HR or a related field (preferred).
• Previous experience in business development, sales, recruitment sales or B2B client acquisition is advantageous; fresh graduates with strong communication skills are also considered.
• Excellent English communication skills and comfort working in a target‑driven environment.
• Proactive, persistent, commercially minded and enjoys cold calling and negotiation.
