About the role
We are seeking an Accounts Assistant to support our finance team in Colombo. The role involves liaising with banks, handling daily treasury tasks, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Liaise with banks and financial institutions.
- Handle day‑to‑day finance and treasury related work.
- Maintain schedules for account balances.
- Check accuracy of received bills and process payments with supporting documents.
- Prepare accounting reports accurately and on time.
- Assist the accountant in preparing monthly financial statements.
Required profile
- Part‑qualified in CA, CIMA, ACCA or another recognised accounting body.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably with audit‑firm exposure.
- Strong proficiency in financial reporting, bookkeeping and accounting standards.
- Age below 30 years and ability to work under pressure.
