Cluster Sales Executive

About the role

The Cluster Sales Executive will support and drive leisure sales across three Anantara properties in Sri Lanka – Anantara Kalutara Resort, Anantara Peace Haven Tangalle, and Avani Kalutara. The role focuses on generating new business, nurturing relationships with travel partners and clients, and contributing to the cluster’s revenue targets. The position reports to the regional sales manager and works closely with marketing and operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement leisure sales strategies for the three properties.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in key source markets.
• Conduct regular sales calls, client visits, presentations and property tours.
• Promote accommodation, dining, experiences, packages and events to travel agents, tour operators and corporate/leisure clients.
• Manage sales leads, enquiries, proposals and follow‑up to convert them into confirmed bookings.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Hospitality Management, Tourism or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of proven experience in hotel sales, preferably within the leisure segment.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with travel partners, tour operators and corporate clients.
