Chef De Cuisine – Luxury Hotel

About the role

Anantara Kalutara Resort is seeking a highly skilled and passionate Chef de Cuisine to lead the main kitchen and specialty restaurants. Reporting to the Executive Chef, you will ensure exceptional food quality, presentation, hygiene, and guest satisfaction in a luxury hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage day‑to‑day operations of the main kitchen and specialty outlets, maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
• Supervise, train and develop the culinary team while ensuring smooth kitchen workflow and compliance with HACCP and food‑safety standards.
• Control food costs, minimise waste, manage inventory and optimise ingredient utilisation.
• Support menu planning, recipe development, culinary promotions and the introduction of innovative dishes aligned with the hotel’s concept.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a luxury or star‑class hotel kitchen.
• Strong culinary expertise with a track record of delivering exceptional dining experiences.
• Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality, consistency and operational excellence.
