Country Director of Finance (Sri Lanka)

About the role

The Country Director of Finance for Sri Lanka will lead all financial operations for Hilton’s hotel portfolio in the country. You will ensure compliance with company, owner, statutory and fiscal requirements while driving financial strategy, planning and reporting to support profitable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee financial strategy, aligning operations with strategic goals to optimise profitability and efficiency.
• Direct annual planning, budgeting, forecasting and provide financial insights for business decisions.
• Act as primary financial advisor to hotel management, Area/Cluster General Managers, owners and asset managers.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, hotel policies and regulatory frameworks, maintaining strong internal controls.
• Lead accurate, efficient and transparent financial reporting and approve all major financial transactions.
• Develop and retain a high‑performing finance team through performance management and professional development.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Accounting or related field with at least 10 years of hotel finance experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Core values: passion for hospitality, integrity, leadership, teamwork, ownership and urgency.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hotel systems such as OnQ, Check SCM, SUN, OPERA/OnQ PMS, MICROS and HRLINK.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial controls, compliance and reporting standards.
