Tour Executive

About the role

The Tour Executive will join The Travel Lanka Leisure team in Ja‑Ela to design and manage customized travel experiences for international visitors to Sri Lanka. This full‑time, on‑site position involves creating detailed itineraries, coordinating logistics and providing support before and during tours.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and tailor tours based on client preferences, highlighting key attractions and cultural experiences.
• Prepare accurate quotations, itineraries and travel documents.
• Coordinate transportation, accommodation, activities and local partners to ensure seamless execution.
• Handle client inquiries, update booking records and resolve travel‑related issues promptly.
• Collaborate with internal teams to maintain service standards and support business growth.

Required profile

• Strong tour planning and management experience, preferably in the travel and tourism sector.
• Good knowledge of Sri Lankan destinations, culture and travel logistics.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, suppliers and colleagues.
• Attention to detail, time‑management abilities and capacity to handle multiple bookings simultaneously.
• Residency in or near Ja‑Ela is preferred.
