Test Development Engineer (m/f/d)

About the role

As a Test Development Engineer you will design, develop and implement In‑Circuit Test (ICT) and Functional Test solutions for electronic assemblies. You will work closely with product and customer teams to translate requirements into robust test specifications and software.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement ICT and functional test solutions for a variety of electronic products.
• Prepare detailed test specifications, concepts and documentation based on product and customer requirements.
• Develop test programs using platforms such as SPEA ICT systems and create customizable software solutions.
• Analyze test data to identify trends, root‑cause failures and improvement opportunities.
• Support production teams in troubleshooting test‑related issues and ensure timely project completion.
• Continuously improve test processes to increase efficiency, reliability and product quality.
• Maintain compliance with industry standards and internal quality procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
• Strong understanding of electronic circuits, schematics interpretation and troubleshooting techniques.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities, attention to detail and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks and collaborate in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Programming in C, C++, C#, Python and Visual Basic.
• Experience with SPEA ICT test platforms.
