Solutions Engineer – Core Network

About the role

Renrui Lanka is looking for an experienced Solutions Engineer specializing in Core Network technologies to work with a multinational client’s Network Engineering team. The role offers exposure to 4G/5G Core, network virtualization, Kubernetes, and signaling solutions in a multicultural environment.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand their pain points, requirements, and business needs while building strong relationships with key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the Core Network Solution Manager to develop technical proposals, high‑level designs, bills of materials, quotations, and solution clarification documents.
• Coordinate with project delivery teams to ensure successful implementation of committed deliverables.
• Identify and manage scope deviations arising from new or changing customer requirements.
• Support commercial negotiations and conduct internal analyses to pinpoint gaps and improvement areas.
• Stay informed about customer requirements, industry trends, and business implications of proposed Core Network solutions.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Core Network solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related engineering discipline.
• Experience in pre‑sales or project delivery of Core Network products and solutions.
• Strong business acumen and ability to understand customer needs and industry trends.
• Proficiency in MS Excel with strong analytical skills.
• Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
