As a Software Engineer III (Full-Stack), you will work with cross‑functional teams to design, develop, and deliver high‑quality, scalable software solutions. The role emphasizes continuous learning, collaboration, and adherence to engineering best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Produce high‑quality code artifacts that meet established standards and promote consistency across the team.
• Follow Pearson’s processes and agile practices, encouraging the same from teammates.
• Escalate risks, issues, and concerns to leads or managers in a timely manner.
• Provide realistic estimates and ensure on‑time delivery of project commitments.
• Utilize engineering tools and technologies to maintain high productivity.
• Take ownership of project delivery responsibilities and demonstrate accountability to leadership.
• Continuously build competencies in product and technology domains.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computing, Information Technology, Mathematics, Physical Sciences, or a related engineering field.
• Minimum three years of industry experience in software engineering, web application development, programming, and design.
• Experience in a leadership or mentorship capacity is preferred.
• Strong commitment to professional ethics, organizational values, and continuous improvement.
