Senior Network Security Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Network Security Engineer to lead technical delivery and operational support across managed network and security environments. The role combines hands‑on incident resolution with strategic service improvement, ensuring high‑quality, customer‑focused network security services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day technical leadership and guidance for managed network and security services.
• Drive continual service improvement, developing and enhancing processes and procedures.
• Manage incidents, service requests, and problem tickets in line with SLA commitments, acting as Level 3 escalation point.
• Lead technical response during major incidents, coordinating resolution and stakeholder communication.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and their ICT teams, delivering regular operational updates.
• Own preventative maintenance activities, monitor infrastructure health, and recommend performance, availability, and security enhancements.
• Produce operational reports and present service performance metrics to customers.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and contribute to knowledge‑sharing initiatives.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in network engineering, network security, or managed services environments.
• Proven ability to act as senior escalation point and technical lead during critical incidents.
• Strong customer‑facing communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work autonomously, demonstrate ownership, and drive proactive problem resolution.
