Senior Executive – Production

About the role

Michelin is seeking a Senior Executive – Production to lead a manufacturing team in Kotugoda, driving sustainable performance across people, profit and planet.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Operations team by sharing best practices, developing talent, and supporting shop decisions that benefit the entire plant.
• Champion people development through lifelong learning, competency evaluation, mentoring and coaching, while promoting diversity and inclusion.
• Act as a role model for Michelin’s values, ensuring safety, attendance, and environmental sustainability are embedded in daily operations.
• Drive operational excellence using MMW, continuous improvement methodologies, and digital tools to reduce variation and non‑value‑added tasks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Production or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of experience leading teams in a manufacturing environment, preferably with prior exposure to Michelin.
• Strong leadership passion for developing high‑performing teams.

Required skills

• Lean, Six Sigma or Operational Excellence certification (preferred).
• Experience with continuous improvement initiatives and Industry 4.0, automation or digital transformation.
