Senior Design Engineer – Electrical

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Design Engineer – Electrical to lead the design and development of electrical systems for a variety of building services and MEP projects. The role involves delivering high‑quality electrical solutions for hotels, high‑rise, residential, commercial, retail and industrial developments while ensuring compliance with international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems and components in line with project requirements and industry codes.
• Provide design support for HT, LT, ELV and ICA services, including calculations, conceptual designs and detailed schematics.
• Oversee project conception, design specifications, scheduling, cost estimation and material procurement.
• Ensure all proposals meet company quality procedures, client expectations, timelines and budgets.
• Submit documentation, vendor approvals and reports on schedule and verify site work against specifications.
• Monitor progress, conduct quality checks and coordinate with clients, consultants, authorities and contractors.
• Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams to guarantee timely project delivery.
• Represent the company in technical meetings and act as the primary technical contact for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with procurement to secure efficient material sourcing and delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical design for MEP consultancy projects.
• Proven experience with HT, LT, ELV and ICA systems across hotel, high‑rise, residential, commercial and industrial sectors.
• Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Leadership experience in overseeing design processes and coordinating with subcontractors and procurement teams.
