Sales Executive

About the role

The Sales Executive will promote non‑life insurance products, identify and approach potential customers, and build lasting relationships with individual and corporate clients in Ratnapura.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach potential customers, promote non‑life insurance products, and build relationships with individual and corporate clients.
• Conduct client meetings, explain policy features and benefits, prepare quotations and proposals, and follow up to close sales and achieve assigned targets.
• Coordinate with branch and regional teams, maintain accurate records of leads and sales activities, and ensure timely customer service and policy renewals.
• Participate in local marketing initiatives, gather market insights, and contribute to improving the overall customer experience.

Required profile

• Strong sales and negotiation skills with the ability to meet and exceed performance targets.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer‑focused mindset.
• Basic understanding of insurance or financial services and willingness to learn non‑life insurance products.
• Ability to plan and manage daily activities, including lead generation, client visits, and follow‑ups.
• Prior experience in sales, banking, finance, or insurance is an advantage.
• Minimum secondary or tertiary education in a relevant field; professional qualifications in marketing or insurance are a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in common office software (e.g., MS Office).
• Experience with digital tools for reporting and customer tracking.
