Quality Control Engineer – Manufacturing

About the role

Variosystems is looking for a Quality Control Engineer to maintain and improve its manufacturing quality system across incoming inspection, in‑process control and final inspection. The role combines hands‑on quality activities with operational leadership, ensuring compliance with standards and continuous efficiency gains.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain an effective quality control system covering good‑receive inspection, in‑process control and final inspection.
• Lead the QC organization operationally, overseeing HR, budget, cost, quality, time, technology and cross‑department collaboration.
• Ensure efficient quality control according to quality plans, requirements and standards.
• Build and sustain control processes, developing the required skills within the QC area.
• Plan and oversee daily operations to meet quantity, schedule and quality targets, setting priorities and taking corrective actions.
• Drive continuous process improvement to increase annual efficiency.
• Monitor compliance with QMS, health and safety standards and implement corrective actions as needed.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in engineering.
• More than 3 years of experience in manufacturing quality, preferably in electronic assembly or wire‑harness production.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 13485, ISO 45001 and IATF 16949 standards.
• Knowledge of process optimisation, problem‑solving techniques and quality‑control methods.
• Strong people‑handling, decision‑making, data analysis and leadership abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
