Offshore Financial Services Auditor

About the role

EY is recruiting an experienced audit or accounting professional for its Special Projects Team, an offshore audit practice supporting EY teams worldwide. The role is fully remote, based in Sri Lanka, and suits someone with experience in insurance, banking and wealth and asset management who wants to work globally without leaving home.

Key responsibilities

• Lead or take part in a global audit engagement team virtually, working with EY teams in European and US sub-regions
• Perform complex, specific audit procedures and develop client-focused audit strategies
• Plan, conduct and manage audit and assurance engagements in line with international accounting and auditing standards
• Build relationships that support tailored services and contribute to new business development
• Prioritise and handle multiple assignments in challenging environments

Required profile

• Experience in audit and assurance services, having used audit software applications
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• A passion for delivering exceptional client service
