Senior Executive - ACR Managed Services

About the role

EY's Accounting Compliance & Reporting (ACR) service team supports the accounting and finance outsourcing industry in a digitised environment beyond Sri Lanka. This Senior Executive joins the global accounting outsourcing team, gaining hands-on exposure to international accounting and finance operations across the UK and other markets, supporting end-to-end finance processes, regulatory compliance, management reporting and stakeholder engagement with overseas clients. The role is based in the Colombo office of EY Sri Lanka.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting and finance operations for international clients
• Prepare management reports, reconciliations and financial analyses
• Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes
• Liaise directly with overseas clients through one-to-one meetings and build strong professional relationships
• Assist with other compliance-related activities
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation
• Support engagement management and client deliverables, taking ownership of deadlines

Required profile

• Finalist status in CA Sri Lanka, CIMA, ACCA or CMA
• 3-4 years of experience in accounting
• Willingness to work UK business hours (1pm - 9pm)
• Ability to engage directly with international clients in one-to-one meetings
• Strong command of written and spoken English
• Proactive, positive attitude, strong teamwork and client relationship management skills
