About the role
The Legal Manager will lead the company's legal function from our Katunayaka office. This role focuses on ensuring compliance with securities regulations and supporting best practices in corporate governance while providing expert legal advice to internal stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Interpret and apply Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) listing rules to company activities.
- Support and advise on corporate governance best practices.
- Collaborate with senior management to address legal issues affecting business operations.
Required profile
- Qualified Attorney‑at‑Law; an LLB from a recognized university is an added advantage.
- 5–7 years of active professional legal experience.
- Demonstrated understanding of SEC listing rules.
- Exposure to corporate governance best practices.
