IFS Project Manager (IGT1)

About the role

IGT1, an offshore technology and talent solutions company based in Port City, Colombo, is hiring an IFS Project Manager for its client Centric Global, a technology company offering IFS ERP solutions. The role leads complex, end-to-end IFS Cloud implementation and transformation programmes for enterprise clients, managing scope, timelines, budgets, risks and quality while delivering business value and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead IFS Cloud implementation projects from initiation through go-live and hypercare, within agreed scope, timelines, budgets and quality standards.
• Develop project plans, schedules, milestones and governance frameworks aligned with IFS implementation methodologies.
• Act as main point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders, managing expectations and communicating across international and multicultural environments.
• Lead cross-functional teams across functional, technical and integration workstreams.
• Identify and manage risks, issues, dependencies and change requests, and handle budget, forecasting, resource allocation and invoicing.
• Prepare status reports, financial updates and executive presentations, run steering committee meetings and escalate critical issues.
• Monitor deliverables against quality standards and business requirements, and manage delivery across multiple geographies and time zones.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in IT, Business Management, Project Management or a related field.
• Proven experience managing medium to large-scale ERP implementation and transformation programmes, including end-to-end IFS implementations.
• Experience with international delivery programmes and stakeholders across cultures, locations and time zones.
• Strong stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Previous consultancy or customer-facing ERP delivery experience and a professional project management certification are preferred.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of the ERP implementation lifecycle, project governance and Agile, Waterfall or Hybrid delivery methods.
• Strong knowledge of IFS Cloud and IFS software.
• Preferred: exposure to IFS Cloud modules such as Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance, Procurement and Human Capital Management.
• Preferred: experience with public sector and service industry organisations.
