Gender Equality & Social Inclusion Advisor for STRIVE Project

About the role

The Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) Advisor will support the STRIVE project in Batticaloa, Sri Lanka, ensuring that gender equality and social inclusion are integrated across all activities. Reporting to the Senior Program Manager, the role contributes to economic empowerment of young people, especially women.

Key responsibilities

• Mainstream GESI considerations across all project activities.
• Provide technical advice and guidance to the project team on gender and inclusion issues.
• Support capacity strengthening, tool development, implementation support, and reporting related to GESI.
• Engage with diverse stakeholders, including the private sector, to build support for gender equality and social inclusion.

Required profile

• Strong analytical skills.
• Academic and professional experience demonstrating a firm understanding of gendered inequalities.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse groups and stakeholders.
