Digital Health Consultant – Sri Lanka

About the role

PATH, a global nonprofit focused on health equity, is seeking an in‑country Consultant to lead digital health and AI initiatives in Sri Lanka. The consultant will work closely with PATH India, government agencies, donors and technology partners to design, pilot and scale solutions that align with the national digital health strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison with Sri Lankan health authorities, securing approvals and fostering strong government relationships.
• Conduct digital health and AI landscape assessments through desk research and stakeholder consultations, providing country‑specific insights.
• Identify, customize and pilot digital health and AI use cases, coordinating with solution providers for localization, integration and rollout.
• Oversee pilot implementation, including site readiness, training, user feedback collection and issue resolution.
• Develop and apply monitoring, evaluation and learning frameworks, tracking key performance indicators and documenting lessons for scale‑up.
• Support planning for sustainability, institutionalization and long‑term government ownership of successful solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in project management and technical coordination of health‑technology initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to engage senior government officials and navigate public‑sector processes.
• Strong analytical skills to translate landscape assessments into actionable recommendations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
