Data Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines that support analytics, reporting, and operational needs. The role focuses on leveraging Microsoft Fabric and Azure to deliver reliable data solutions for cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and operate robust data pipelines and integration solutions on Microsoft Fabric and Azure.
• Create and maintain data models, data warehouses, and data lake architectures.
• Collaborate with analysts, functional, and engineering teams to gather requirements and deliver data solutions.
• Implement data quality checks, monitoring, and alerting mechanisms.
• Optimize existing infrastructure for performance, cost efficiency, and scalability.
• Establish best practices for coding standards, version control, testing, and documentation.
• Evaluate new tools and technologies to enhance the data platform.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and privacy policies.
• Participate in incident response for critical pipeline issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in data or software engineering.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a focus on data quality.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
