Store Keeper

About the role

Abans PLC is seeking a diligent Store Keeper to manage daily store‑keeping operations for its extensive range of consumer electronics and accessories. The role ensures that inventory is received, stored safely, and issued accurately in line with company procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, issue, and store inventory, maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Maintain real‑time inventory records using ERP systems, PDA scanners and Microsoft Excel.
• Monitor stock levels, perform regular cycle counts and enforce FIFO handling.
• Coordinate with sales teams, customers and internal departments to support timely order fulfilment.
• Prepare accurate inventory reports, stock summaries and related documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in storekeeping, inventory control or warehouse operations.
• Basic education – G.C.E. A/L or equivalent.
• Strong leadership and coordination abilities.
• Experience in the mobile phone or electronics sector is preferred.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Use of PDA scanning devices and mobile applications.
• Knowledge of FIFO methods and cycle counting.
