Service Engineer

About the role

Everllence is looking for a Service Engineer to perform commissioning, maintenance and repair activities on its own and third‑party engines and related machinery worldwide. The role involves technical support for customers, troubleshooting, and coordination of assembly and disassembly tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Commission, maintain and repair Everllence and other manufacturers’ engines and machinery according to guidelines.
• Service Woodward and other speed‑control devices.
• Prepare assemblies for service assignments, including spare‑part identification, tool preparation and verification of completeness.
• Collect and manage technical data such as work procedures, drawings and material lists.
• Act as the technical contact for less‑qualified staff, coach service technicians and lead troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis.
• Provide specialist assistance to Everllence and third‑party customers during assembly, disassembly and overhaul processes.
• Create reports, analyse maintenance data and suggest improvements.
• Report incidents, accidents and near‑misses and ensure timesheets are completed.

Required profile

• Mechanical Engineering degree (or equivalent) from a recognised university.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the marine, power‑industry or captive power‑plant sector.
• Strong technical and commercial understanding of engine and power‑plant operations.
• Knowledge of work preparation, project management and leadership principles.
• Familiarity with health, safety, environmental and quality requirements.
• Willingness to travel worldwide.
• Proficiency in technical report writing using Microsoft Office.
