About the role
Olanka Travels is expanding its Tour Operations Department and is looking for a senior professional to lead the creation of new tour products and packages. The role will involve designing unique travel experiences and collaborating closely with sales, marketing and operations teams.
Key responsibilities
- Research and develop new tour products, packages and unique travel experiences
- Design creative and commercially attractive itineraries
- Identify new destinations, hotels, activities and experiences
- Work with suppliers to develop competitive products and pricing
- Research market trends and changing traveller preferences
- Review and continuously improve existing tour products
- Work closely with Tour Operations, Sales and Marketing teams
Required profile
- 3+ years of experience in inbound tourism, tour operations, product development or a related role
- Strong knowledge of Sri Lankan tourism products and other destinations such as Vietnam and Maldives
- Excellent itinerary planning and product development skills
- Good understanding of hotels, experiences, suppliers and destination logistics
- Strong research, communication and coordination skills
- Creative mindset with a passion for developing exceptional travel experiences
