Senior Systems Engineer (L2) – Microsoft 365 & Azure

About the role

Our client, a fast‑growing Managed Service Provider, is looking for a proactive Senior Systems Engineer (L2) to deliver high‑quality support for Microsoft 365 and Azure environments. You will work remotely, handling escalations and ensuring smooth operations for international customers.

Key responsibilities

• Provide L2 support and manage escalations across Microsoft 365 services.
• Configure, troubleshoot and maintain Azure, Entra ID, Conditional Access, Intune, Autopilot, Exchange Online, Teams and SharePoint Online.
• Own tickets end‑to‑end, document actions accurately and meet SLA targets.
• Perform OS and third‑party patch management using Intune and PatchMyPC.
• Monitor Veeam backup health, replication processes and generate client updates.
• Create knowledge‑base articles and contribute to service‑improvement initiatives.
• Assist with onboarding, migrations and small infrastructure projects.
• Participate in a rotating on‑call schedule and after‑hours maintenance windows.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on L2 support for Microsoft 365 environments.
• Strong knowledge of Azure, Intune, Exchange Online, Teams and SharePoint Online.
• Experience with ConnectWise Manage or other RMM platforms.
• Familiarity with backup monitoring, patch management and security best practices.
• Microsoft certifications such as MS‑102, AZ‑104 or MD‑102 are preferred.
• Previous MSP or client‑facing support experience is highly desirable.
