We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer specialized in backend development to join a global platform on a contract basis. The role is hybrid, allowing you to work remotely while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑performance, scalable solutions for millions of users.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems and services.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to define requirements and architecture.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise existing components for performance and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical decision‑making.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a senior backend engineer with a strong grasp of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Ability to work independently in a remote/hybrid environment and communicate effectively with distributed teams.

Required skills

• Python, Java, or Go programming.
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Containerisation and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes.
