Senior Quantity Surveyor – Facilities Solutions

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Facilities Solutions team in Colombo. The role supports the commercial and contractual management of facilities management service agreements and construction‑related projects for a UAE‑based group, providing international project exposure and collaboration with regional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret and manage contract terms, obligations, variations and commercial requirements in line with FM service agreements, SLAs and KPIs.
• Prepare, review and negotiate client and subcontractor contracts.
• Monitor contractual deliverables, changes, claims and commercial obligations.
• Track risk and opportunity logs across contracts and projects.
• Analyse and value completed works for commercial reporting.
• Conduct cost analysis, cost/value reconciliations and commercial reviews.
• Prepare and review BOQs, quantity measurements and project cost information.
• Assess subcontractor quotations for value for money and commercial compliance.
• Support invoicing, payment applications and claims preparation with accurate commercial inputs.
• Prepare variation orders, ensure accuracy and contractual compliance.
• Track contract performance indicators and support SLA/KPI measurement and reporting.
• Produce commercial dashboards, reports and insights for senior management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in quantity surveying and commercial management within facilities management or construction projects.
• Strong understanding of contract interpretation, variation management and claim processes.
• Ability to work closely with operations, finance, legal, procurement and senior management teams.
