Senior IFS Support Consultant

About the role

Wyre Solutions is expanding its Sri Lankan delivery centre and seeks an experienced Senior IFS Support Consultant. You will own complex IFS Cloud and IFS Applications incidents, work directly with international customers and collaborate with UK‑based consultants to deliver high‑quality functional and technical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Own and resolve L2/L3 IFS support cases, performing investigation, diagnosis, root‑cause analysis and resolution.
• Engage with customers to understand business problems, recommend solutions and ensure issues are closed within agreed SLAs.
• Provide expert functional or technical guidance across specialist IFS areas such as Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing or Service Management.
• Manage incidents, service requests, configuration changes, testing, patches, releases and IFS Cloud updates.
• Escalate complex incidents to IFS when required and coordinate the escalation process.
• Produce clear case notes, technical documentation, knowledge articles and customer communications.
• Mentor junior members of the Sri Lanka support team and share knowledge across the wider organisation.
• Identify improvement opportunities, minor enhancements and consultancy prospects arising from support activities.

Required profile

• Significant hands‑on experience with IFS Applications and/or IFS Cloud in a consulting, implementation or support environment.
• Proven ability to take ownership of customer problems from investigation through to resolution without constant supervision.
• Strong written and spoken English for communication with international customers and UK teams.
• Experience within IFS Global Delivery, IFS Success/Support, an IFS Partner or an enterprise running IFS is highly relevant.
• Demonstrated track record of handling complex escalations, performing root‑cause analysis and advising customers on functional and technical solutions.

Required skills

• IFS Cloud technical architecture and IFS Applications 9/10.
• PL/SQL and Oracle database expertise.
• Integrations and APIs, including IFS Connect, REST and OData.
• Customization and CRIM (Customer Relationship and Interaction Management).
• Reporting tools such as Crystal Reports and Power BI.
• Data migration, troubleshooting and performance analysis.
