Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

Progress Partners is a fast‑growing technology company building next‑generation SaaS and mobile platforms. We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team in Galle, focusing on cloud infrastructure, automation, and DevOps best practices, especially AWS and Terraform.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) repositories.
• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines.
• Deploy and manage containerised applications with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve system reliability and performance.
• Implement cloud security best practices.
• Automate operational processes using Bash or Python.
• Collaborate closely with software engineering teams to streamline deployments.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering.
• Strong hands‑on experience with AWS and Terraform.
• Proven experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
